Loveland Ski Area: Loveland is right off of I-70 near Georgetown, making it one of the closest and most convenient ski areas to Denver.  Loveland consists of both Loveland Basin and Loveland Valley. Loveland Basin is the larger of the two sides, covering 85 percent of the skiable terrain; it also hosts a terrain park. Much of the terrain at the Basin is located above tree line.
