Eaglecrest Ski Area: Eaglecrest, the second-largest resort in Alaska, is located about 12 miles from Juneau. Skiers and riders often report epic snow conditions in Eaglecrest; the resort also provides a terrain park and halfpipe. Eaglecrest is known for its gnarly terrain and short lift lines. There are about 640 skiable acres inbounds as well as killer hiking access to world-class skiing and riding.
