This was a fun experience. I have some family that lives in CA and we went to Heavenly and skied for a day. I think it has to be one of the few places that you can wake up in your hotel, gear up and walk through a casino to get to the chairlift. We had a beautifully clear day with great views. Definitely different than skiing in Colorado.
I skied Heavenly during Thanksgiving a couple of years and really enjoyed my experience. The tree skiing is great, the views are awesome and it’s a bonus being able to ski in two states in the same day!
