What's up at Heavenly?

Heavenly, which is owned by Vail Resorts, is located in the South Lake Tahoe area and is one of the premier resorts in the state. With more than 30 lifts and 97 runs, Heavenly has something to offer skiers and riders of all ability levels. More than 35 percent of the terrain, however, is suited for advanced and expert skiers. Considering that Heavenly averages more than 360 inches of snowfall each year, it is one of California’s top resorts for those who like it steep and deep. Don’t forget to bring your fat skis! Heavenly also offers night skiing. Find great deals on both group and individual Heavenly lift ticket discounts at GetSkiTickets.com!

    Great resort! Fantastic Views

Pros : Tree skiing is awesome at heavenly.
    Cons : Can be expensive.

I skied Heavenly during Thanksgiving a couple of years and really enjoyed my experience. The tree skiing is great, the views are awesome and it’s a bonus being able to ski in two states in the same day!

    An Experience

Pros : Get to ski in 2 states with phenomenal views
Cons : Not too many access lifts from town

This was a fun experience. I have some family that lives in CA and we went to Heavenly and skied for a day. I think it has to be one of the few places that you can wake up in your hotel, gear up and walk through a casino to get to the chairlift. We had a beautifully clear day with great views. Definitely different than skiing in Colorado.
