What's up at Sierra at Tahoe

Sierra-at-Tahoe: About 16 miles from the Nevada border sits the family-friendly ski resort of Sierra-at-Tahoe. Unlike most of the Tahoe resorts, it is located on the south side of the lake, in the Eldorado National Forest. Known for an epic amount of annual snowfall, Sierra is a great place for beginners, too. Sierra offers 14 chairlifts, and its five terrain parks keep park enthusiasts happy. Near the top of the mountain, gates provide access into Huckleberry Canyon. For individual and group discount lift tickets at Sierra-at-Tahoe, look no further than GetSkiTickets.com!

Skier & Rider Resort Reviews For Sierra at Tahoe

5 reviews on “Sierra at Tahoe

  1. Pros : Good food up top. Several easier trails for beginners and novices.
    Cons : -

We have been coming to Sierra for about eight years. During that time, our kids have progressed from ski school to intermediate level. We have appreciated the friendliness of the staff, the good food at the top of the mountain, the easy access from South Lake Tahoe lodging, and the number of available runs for beginners and novices. Discount packages online and at the resort help to keep prices reasonable. Many of the staff appear to be from other countries, which adds to the character of Sierra. Perhaps the best way to sum it up is to say, “Sierra is family friendly.”

  2. Pros : Snow quality!
    Cons : none.

Sierra at Tahoe has become one of my favorite Lake Tahoe ski resorts. I saved some good cash flow on my lift tickets by buying them through GetSkiTickets.com so that was cool. I will definitely come back!

  3. Pros : Great lift ticket deals, great powder!

The back country skiing was amazing. Fresh powder runs and a cheap lift ticket made this a very worthwhile trip. thanks, Jack

  4. Pros : Fresh powder, amazing and friendly staff, excellent experience
    Cons : Wind holds

I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for great mountains conditions, small mountain feel and friendly staff!

  5. Pros : Thank you snow god!
    Cons : 15 Word Max

I had a great time with my friends this last week. We had perfect timing with the storm and Sierra got dumped on. I had some great runs on Upper Sugar n Spice and Dynamite upper and lower were descent. Thanks to GetSkiTickets.com I got some killer deals to hit the snow! I will spread the word!
