We skied at Squaw last Spring and had a GREAT time! The tram to the top was really an experience! And the views from the top were breathtaking. The Tahoe area just got dumped on the day before we skied and the conditions were AMAZING…and it was APRIL! The terrain was challenging in places, but it was still family friendly for the beginners. The restaurants and bars were hopping, which made for an AWESOME après ski!!
Wow, I had a great time skiing Squaw. An amazing day. I was able to cover most of the mountain. It was an easy mountain to get around, a nice variety of terrain and difficulty. Really cute village at the bottom. I will definitely go back.
Squaw Valley is one of my favorite resorts that I’ve skied. They have excellent terrain for a variety of levels coupled with deep snow. The pool and hot tubs at the top of the Gondola are a huge bonus, especially in the spring when it warms up a bit. I love this mountain.
