Sun Peaks Resort: Sun Peaks is located 31 miles northeast of Kamloops. The resort boasts 3,678 skiable acres of terrain, which is served by 11 chairlifts. Sun Peaks is composed of three mountains: Tod Mountain, Sundance Mountain, and Mount Morrisey. Most terrain is intended for intermediate to advanced skiers, but it is still a great place for families. There are a whopping 122 ski trails at Sun Peaks (including 12 gladed areas), which is also known for receiving a hefty amount of snow. Powder hounds will definitely love it here.
