What's up at Arapahoe Basin
Arapahoe Basin: Arapahoe Basin, usually called A-Basin (or even just the Basin), is located in the White River National Forest high up in the Rocky Mountains. Known for its especially long season and hard-core clientele, A-Basin has some incredible terrain for advanced skiers. Add to that an incredible 350 inches of annual snowfall, it’s no wonder why this a top destination for those who like it steep. A-Basin is not glamorous like many other Colorado resorts – and that is the appeal for many. The East Wall is widely regarded as the highest inbounds skiable terrain in North America. The resort provides 900 skiable acres served by seven lifts. Find great deals on Arapahoe Basin lift tickets at GetSkiTickets.com!

A basin is great mountain to go to, to get away from the major crowds at Keystone, Breck or Copper. It is a smaller resort for the die hard skiers. Best place to go to get a great day of skiing in and then head out!
Arapahoe Basin it one of my favorite front range ski resorts in Colorado. They have easy parking without having to pay (unlike Breckenridge and Vail) and the new expansion to Montezuma Bowl adds some great terrain to their already existing mountain. The “Beach Scene” in the spring is unmatched.
