Eldora Mountain Resort: Located in the southwest corner of Boulder County, near Nederland, is Eldora Mountain. Eldora is the second-closest ski resort to the Denver metro area. It has become popular for Denver/Boulder area residents due to its location and the fact that skiers can avoid I-70 traffic by going there. Had a great time with my buds. We headed to Eldora after we elected not to go to some classes. Love eldora, it is close and we can get some great turns in and then relax, have a beer get a few more turns in and get back to boulder.
