What's up at Loveland Ski Area
Loveland Ski Area: Loveland is right off of I-70 near Georgetown, making it one of the closest and most convenient ski areas to Denver. Loveland consists of both Loveland Basin and Loveland Valley. Loveland Basin is the larger of the two sides, covering 85 percent of the skiable terrain; it also hosts a terrain park. Much of the terrain at the Basin is located above tree line. I took my son snowboarding for the first time at Loveland this past season. I signed him up for a day lesson. We live in Denver so it’s an easy drive. He had such a great time, he can’t wait to snowboard again.
