Best Ski Towns for Nightlife

Steamboat, CO

Steamboat is notorious for its powder face shots, great tree runs and champagne powder during the day, but at night, can turn upside down with Après ski life! There are a variety of things to do off the slopes, a hot springs (one with a waterslide!), the Steamboat MusicFest in January (celebrating 31 years in 2015) and a plethora of kickass bars downtown. Check out Steamboat’s own local drinking spot, Mahogany Ridge Brewery or Carl’s Tavern!

Lake Tahoe shares residency between California & Nevada, giving you the ability to hit clubs, bars and even casinos, like Harrah’s & the Hard Rock. There’s always something happening in Tahoe, from live music and celebrity-spottings to bottle service & yuppie clubs. Take the Gondola to the top of California’s largest resort, Heavenly, to Unbuckle at Tamarack and party with GoGo dancers at 9,150 feet!

Don’t be fooled by the anything you saw in Dumb & Dumber, Aspen is much more than Ferraris and fur wearing millionaires. Hosting the Winter X-Games for more than a decade, free concert series and an award-winning brewery, Aspen Brewing Company. Get an amazing sandwich at the infamous Grateful Deli then stroll down Main Street hitting over 100 bars, restaurants and clubs. You can find anything from velvet-roped lounges to divey local favorites! Don’t’ forget to stop by the “Sexiest ski lounge in North America” voted by Playboy, Hotel Jerome!

Aspen

Vail, CO

Let’s just pretend you still have energy to hit the town after crushing Vail’s 5,200+ skiable acres. Even at the base of the mountain, Vail is littered with amazing restaurants, top shelf drinking establishments and clubs for the night owls. You have to stop off at Los Amigos for drinks and a great view of the mountain. Later in the night, Whiskey Jack’s is the go-to place for clubbing, dancing and late night drinks. You’ll often find many live music venues like Shakedown Bar, Sandbar or the Red Lion!

Jackson Hole, WY

These guys know how to party! Jackson Hole has continued to grow consistently since 2000 and has accommodated to locals with more party spots. They continue the age old tradition of Gaper Day, which is possibly the best around on April 1st. Well known places like the Mangy Moose & the Million Dollar Cowboy has catered to the cowboy skiers for years! You can catch live music and bars that are local’s favorite dives!
