There will now be 13 ski companies who have moved headquarters to Ogden, UT since 2004; Hart Ski Corporation is the most recent. Hart Skis sponsors Patrick Deneen, who is a 2009 world gold medalist in freestyle mogul skiing, and Bryon Wilson, who won the bronze medal in the men’s moguls at the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver.

Hart Skis’ CEO Chris Farni commented on the move from Minnesota by saying, “To be here (Ogden), the logistics are great, the weather is wonderful, just an hour or hour and a half from eight to ten major resorts on the Eastern Utah Valley slope.”

In all likelihood the niche brand will become more popular in coming years amongst freestyle skiers.
