The Unlinked Heritage of Snowboarding

Patagonia’s new video short shows a more spiritual side of the historic origins of snowboarding, as snowboarder Alex Yoder and WRKSHRT team up for “The Unlinked Heritage of Snowboarding,” which takes viewers on a cultural and spiritual journey to the mountains of Turkey, where snowboarding has been around for hundreds of years. While the film explores a little area and what some might call snowboarding’s early predecessors, it also has some pretty inspiring scenes from the back country in this beautiful- and snowy- area of the world.
