The Burton US Open is back in Vail, Colorado this week, and with some snow (albeit it a little wet and heavy) falling throughout the day, it’s the perfect time to head up i70. For those of you who haven’t experienced an Open, it’s basically a week of incredible snowboarding competition interjected by free, nightly concerts, and capped off with one big party to close things out. Can’t make the concerts this weekend? Sign up for the Broomball Tournament, and test your skills out on Solaris’ ice rink, or post up at local favorite Yeti’s Grind with a hot chocolate and take in the carnage from a safe distance. Saturday’s concert will be followed by an after party at Dobson Ice Arena, or take your merry making out into the Village, and check out some of Vail’s best late night spots.
