Kicking Horse Mountain: Kicking Horse is located near Golden and boasts the fourth-highest vertical in all of North America; its 4,133-foot drop is only six feet less than that of Jackson Hole. There are about 2,800 skiable acres at Kicking Horse, spread over 106 trails. Kicking Horse is served by one gondola and three chairlifts. Policies & Information

Must be purchased at least 1 day in advance and all products are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please print and present this Itinerary Email Voucher with a picture ID in order to redeem your services to the Guest Services at the base of Kicking Horse on your first ski day. Voucher may only be redeemed once by the traveler listed on the voucher. All products including Canadian products on GetSkiTickets.com are in USD. Lifts operate daily from 9am - 3:30pm. Ticket office opens at 8:30am.

    Hidden Gem

    Pros : Steep, Rugged
    Cons : Cold

    Kicking Horse is a hidden gem. The layout is most similar to Jackson Hole. You can take one lift to the top and ride 4000 feet of steep black runs over and over again. This is a hard core skiers mountain. And the scenery is incredible. I would only recommend for intermediate or above.

    Great resort, well run by a dedicated and friendly team.

    Pros : Terrific variety of skiing.
    Cons : If you want apres skiing, which I did not, this is not the place.

    Have skied here two years running. For good intermediate skiers this is a gem.
    The lift guys and girls were helpful and friendly and the locals too.
    Not many places to go for dinner or distractions at night but that’s also one of it’s charms!
    Lovely resort and hope to return next year.

    There is a reason Kicking Horse is on the bucket list to ski. I went last year on a trip and I am coming back this year too!
