Skier and Rider Resort Review for Ski Cooper

  1.

    Great for Beginners & Affordable

Pros : Affordable, friendly, good for beginners

This is a great, inexpensive place for beginners and families! We could have snowboarded here for a week and spent less than we did in one day at Vail. Everybody from the visitors to the employees were nice and much more laid back creating a comfortable, family friendly environment.

  2.

    Affordable

Pros : This is one of the last resorts that a family of 5 can afford.
    Cons : More terrain

Skiing has become a rich man’s sport. Ski Cooper is one of the last resorts where a family can go once or twice a year. We love it for our kids who are still beginners and everyone is always very friendly.

    Always a Gem

Pros : The Snow (Natural), the price, laid back
Cons : Main chair is as slow as it was when I was a kid!

Ski Cooper never disappoints! Luv the natural snow and the fact that the snow report is not pulled out of a hat like it is at other mountains i.e.: Vail, Breck, Steamboat, & others. The terrain is excellent for my nephews who are just learning to tear it up on their boards. I luv a laid back easy day in the sun at Ski Cooper!

  4.

    Wonderful

    Pros : New beginners best
    Cons : They have everything

It was great for a beginner. I am a beginner so I am not sure if falling down every single time is normal. My 8 year old picked it up quickly and was like a professional and this was also his first time. So, there you have it. No knowledge of skiing but we still had a great time.

    Family time

My family goes to ski cooper all of the time. It is less expensive than Copper and I think it has an amazing ski program for our kids.
