Skier and Rider Resort Review for Greek Peak Mountain Resort

  1.

    Best deal for College Students!

Pros : 40 minutes from Binghamton, plenty of slopes to ride in only a few hours.
Cons : A lot different from Fresh powder snow compared to machine-made snow, too busy at night & on the weekends.

I’ve been going snowboarding here for almost 20 years, so I’ve learned the best time of day and best days of the week to go without having to worry about how crowded some of the slopes can be. I’ve been to several different mountains, which have a lot more fresh powder snow due to their higher altitudes, and Greek Peak’s machine-made snow is a much different experience from fresh powder snowboarding. But all-in-all, for the price of a Season Pass at Student Discount, it is well worth the month when you live close by! The parks are a little too icy and make take-offs and landings a little harder to control. But they are great for beginners to learn on for when they gain the experience and come across much larger parks at different mountains (like Windham, or Killington). I love Greek Peak. So I would give it a 4 out of 5 stars!

    Go Greak or go Home!

Pros : Close to my home town.
    Cons : Smaller resort.

Greak Peak is a fun little resort. I’ll be back this spring!
