What's up at Alta Ski Area?

Alta, located in the Wasatch Mountains, is one of the oldest ski areas in the United States and is well known for the phenomenal quality of its snow. If you’re looking for the pow-pow, head to Alta, since it piles up at a rate of more than 500 inches a year. Alta is also one of the only ski areas in the United States that doesn’t allow snowboarders, so don’t expect to ride here. Skier and Rider Resort Review for Alta Ski Area

I've skied all over and Alta is my favorite.

Pros : Deep snow and low key vibe.
    Cons : Nothing.

I’m from Colorado and ALta reminds me of my home resort of Arapahoe Basin. This is a great resort to get deep into the fluff as well as some excellent backcountry options if you connect Snowbird on your ticket. I’ve bought the salt lake city superpass through before and will definately do it again. IT’s great having 4 resorts on one ticket.

    Alta is awwwwesome!

    Pros : Snow and Terrain
Cons : The last stop up the Canyon

I’m giving this a 5 star review. I had a great trip. I bought the salt lake superpass and skied Alta everyday! saved me some money too. It was either Park City or Big Cottenwood and I’m glad I chose Alta.
