Skier and Rider Resort Review for Okemo Mountain

  1.

    Great weekend

Pros : Lots of great trails for families/ novices
Cons : Bubble lift was closed due to high winds

We enjoyed our ski vacation at Okemo.

  2.
Pros : Wide variety of mountains, great scenery, everything was mapped out great and never felt lost. large amounts of trails to chose from!
Cons : Wait times for waffles 🙁

First and definitely not last time visiting Okemo. It was fun, and had great options from beginners to advanced at a decent price!

  3.
Pros : Easy access all around mountain. Love the bubble. Fun steeps & glades marked for intermediates or expert so no one has regrets.
Cons : Midweek food very limited-- basically Jackson Gore is the only place with decent options.

Love Okemo– runs for every level and lots of fun for entire family.

    Terrific Skiing!!!!!

    Pros : Lots of variety
Cons : Not all food concessions open during the week

First time to Okemo. Very impressed with the quality of the runs. Loved the heated, bubble, 6 person chair especially when it was cold and windy at the top. Food selection was great. Loved Smokey Jo’s bbq. Superb skiing conditions and trails were expertly groomed. Lots of snow for mid March. Would definitely return to Okemo.

    Great beginner mountain

    Pros : Easy layout
Cons : A lot of flat green trails

We had varied levels in our group, and everyone found something to challenge themselves. The layout of the mountain was very easy to navigate, and the “bubble” lift was a huge success. Also getskitickets.com has THE BEST customer service. Will definitely purchase through them again.

  6.
    Pros : Snow quality
Cons : 6-person lift was slow

Very nice mountain, wide variety of terrain. Good Green and Blue slopes, but also plenty of black diamonds for those who want them. Some Green trails have very flat, even uphill areas – tough for my daughter on a snowboard. Good beginner areas for my 2 1/2 year old grandson.

    OKEMO Mountain

Pros : lines were not that long
Cons : too icy on the north side

thursday and friday the mountain was not that crowded. We did not have to wait any lines for the ski lifts. The only down side is the north side of the mountain was icy.

    Great Day

Pros : Groom is the best, plus snowed all day
    Cons : None

Great day at Okemo on the 1/12/15. Snowed 4 inches throughout the day on top of already good grooming. A little thin at top, but mostly some of the best skiing in the East. New 6 pack lift with heated seats and bubble made the rider to the top quick and comfortable!

    We'll be back!

Pros : Fun terrain, nice staff
    Cons : nothing.

We went to Okemo last Spring. We booked a 5 day trip. There are a ton of condo options so it’s nice having a variety of places to stay. The skiing when we went was great! We’re planning another trip for February.

    Great VT ski resort town

Pros : Great terrain, big mtn for East
    Cons : None.

My family loves skiing Vermont and Okemo is one of our favorites. The town at the base (ludlow) is a great little community with everything you could need. We love Okemo!

    Head Snow Monkey

Pros : Family-friendly, amazing staff, predictable conditions
Cons : Family-friendly, quiet nightlife, entitled crowds?

My favorite spot in the East! They have invested tens of millions into snowmaking, new lifts, new trails and updated facilities every year over the past 10 years. It’s not the Okemo you used to know!
